What is a PostPaid Plan?

A PostPaid Plans is a combination of calls, texts and data in one plan. Choose from any of the below plans.

  • All plans include FREE OnNet Talk capped at 5,000 as per the Fair Usage Policy. OnNet refers to calls made to a DigiCell and BTL numbers. Usage exceeding this Fair Usage Policy will be charged at a low rate of $0.10 OnNet.
  • All plans include FREE Text capped at 10,000 as per the Fair Usage Policy. Text is applicable to messages sent to both DigiCell and SMART numbers. Usage exceeding this Fair Usage Policy will be charged at a low rate of $0.05 OnNet and $0.15 OffNet.  
  • OnNet refers to calls/texts made to a DigiCell and/or BTL numbers.
  • OffNet refers to calls/text made to the other provider.

What is a shared plan?

A shared plan is sharing your voice minutes, text and data with members in your shared group. The Elite and Max plans can be shared with PrePaid and PostPaid numbers. Note that all numbers shared in the plan must be registered to the account holder of the account. Voice minutes, text and data are shared with PostPaid numbers; however PrePaid numbers can only share data at this time.

 

1.) Who is responsible for the shared plan charges?

The account owner is responsible to pay the bill and that persons owns all the numbers both PrePaid and PostPaid in the shared group. 

 

2.) How many members can a shared plan include?

The Elite plan can have a maximum of 4 members, which includes the account holder. The Max plan can have a maximum of 6 members, which includes the account holder. 

 

3.) Can I manage Talk, Text and Data usage to members?

Not at this time. The voice minutes, text and data are on a first come, first served concept.

 

4.) Who can be a member of a shared plan?

Any PrePaid or PostPaid plan can be a part of a shared plan. All numbers are owned by the account holder. 

 

5.) What can PostPaid members do?

PostPaid members can share Talk, Text and Data. PrePaid members can only share Data. 

 

6.) Can the shared member make international calls?

The shared member can make international calls if the account holder allows the member to do so.

 

7.) Can I share bundle text?

Yes, PostPaid members of the shared plan can also share a text bundle purchased by the owner of the account. 

 

8.) Can a PostPaid or PrePaid member buy bundles?

No, only the account holder can make purchases for the members; however, PrePaid users do not share Talk & Text, so they can buy a Text bundle using their PrePaid Account credit. 

 

How can I sign up for a PostPaid Plan?

To sign up you can visit any of the BTL office countrywide with the following documents:

  • Proof of address
  • Proof of income
  • Proof of identity (preferably Social Security card or passport ID)

 

A deposit may be required for the following:

  • New customers with a letter from a company (Bank, Credit Union, Courts) confirming that they have a good credit history.
  • Existing customers in good standing with BTL. In order words, you do not have any past due or unpaid accounts with BTL. 

Which plans include data?

All PostPaid Plans offer mobile data in the plan package. This includes Starter, Lite, Plus, Elite and Max Plans. 

  

1.) What can PrePaid members of a shared plan do? 

PrePaid members can only share Data. 

  

2.) What kind of data can I get with Starter plan?

With the Starter plan you can add any of the Data Basic plans.  

 

3.) Can a PostPaid number share data?

Yes, PostPaid numbers that are a part of the shared plan can share data.

  

4.) What can be done if I run out of data? 

If you run out of data, you can purchase a 2 GB or 5 GB data add-on.

What does FREE Talk and Text mean?

The PostPaid Plans (Lite, Plus, Elite and Max Plans) have been upgraded to allow you to BE FREE (subject to BTL’s Fair Usage Policy).

 

Plans free features are subject to the company’s fair usage policy (FUP).  Plans are for normal residential use only and are not for any commercial or other unauthorized use.  The use of text allowances for broadcast texts, advertising, spam or other commercial or unauthorized use is prohibited.  

 

Plan may be suspended or overage charges applied for excessive or commercial use outside of the company’s FUP.

 

All plans include FREE OnNet Talk capped at 5,000 as per the Fair Usage Policy. OnNet refers to calls made to a DigiCell and BTL numbers. Usage exceeding this Fair Usage Policy will be charged at a low rate of $0.10 OnNet.

When do I use my OnNet minutes?

Your OnNet minutes applies to calls made to DigiCell and BTL numbers only. If you make an Off-net call, which are calls to the other service provider, the minutes will be deducted from your OffNet plan minutes.  If your OffNet minutes are finished you will be charged the standard excess rates. (See further for excess rates)  

When do I use my OffNet minutes?

The Lite Plus, Elite, and Max plans now include MORE OffNet minutes. Your OffNet minutes can be used to call another provider.

 

-  With your Lite Plan you enjoy 600 Minutes to call Smart numbers locally from within the Plan. After the 600 Minutes is finished, calls to SMART numbers will be charged at $0.16 per minute.

 

 

-  With your Plus Plan you enjoy 800 Minutes to call Smart numbers locally from within the Plan. After the 800 Minutes is finished, calls to SMART numbers will be charged at $0.16 per minute.

 

 

-  With your Elite Plan you enjoy 1200 Minutes to call Smart numbers locally from within the Plan. After the 1200 Minutes is finished, calls to SMART numbers will be charged at $0.16 per minute.

 

 

-  With your Max Plan you enjoy 2000 Minutes to call Smart numbers locally from within the Plan. After the 2000 Minutes is finished, calls to SMART numbers will be charged at $0.16 per minute. 

What are the excess rates if the allotted plan minutes are exceeded?

The excess voice rates are $0.10 OnNet and $0.16 OffNet, and text excess rates are $0.05 OnNet and $0.15 OffNet.

Do I still have the option to purchase Text Bundles?

PostPaid Customers can contact any BTL Customer Service center to purchase a text bundle. This can be done on a one time basis or recurring… you choose!

Can I make international calls with my Plan minutes?

No, International calls are not a part of your PostPaid plan minutes; Calls made overseas will be charged the standard international rates.  Similar concept applies for International texts. 

What are Value Added Services?

DigiCell Value Added Services include: Caller ID, Call Forwarding, Call Waiting, Call Hold, MultiParty Calling, Voice Mail, Short Message Service (SMS), International Roaming and DigiCell Data. Some of these services are included in the Combo plans. Others can be activated at any BTL Office countrywide.
