Voice Mail
Voice Mail automatically answers calls when you are on the phone, you are out of the service area or your cell phone is turned off. DigiCell offers you the option to personalize your Voice Mail with a greeting, especially since callers are more likely to leave a message if they hear your voice. Once a new message is in your mailbox, you will receive an SMS. See below for instructions in setting up and retrieving your voice mail.
Using your Voice Mail
To set up your mailbox from your DigiCell phone:
- Dial 134 and follow the automated attendant
To set up your mailbox from any other phone:
- Dial 610-9134
- Enter your DigiCell number plus * (e.g. 610-0000*)
- Enter your temporary passcode 1234*
- Follow the automated attendant
To retrieve your messages from your own phone:
- Dial 134 and follow the automated attendant
To retrieve messages from any other phone:
- Dial 610-9134
- Enter your DigiCell number plus * (e.g. 610-0000*)
- Enter your personal passcode
- Follow the automated attendant
To retrieve messages from an International location:
- Dial the international country code + area code + 610-9134
- Enter your DigiCell number plus * (e.g. 610-0000*)
- Enter your personal passcode
- Follow the automated attenda
During your messages, just press 33 to Back up, Skip, or Delete your messages before waiting for the entire message to play.
Caller ID
Caller Id allows you to view date, time and caller’s number before picking up the call. You will need to program the name in your cellular address book, in order for the name of the person to show on your display. Only some calling numbers will be viewed.
Multi-Party Calling
Multi-Party Calling allows you to talk to other parties at the same time whether they are on a regular telephone or cell phone. You can initiate the calls, or you can include other parties in a conversation you are already having.
Call Forwarding
Call Forwarding allows you to forward your incoming calls to another cell phone or telephone number.
Call Hold
Call Hold enables you to put a caller on hold if someone needs your attention while you are on a call or so that the party on the phone cannot hear you while you talk with a colleague or friend
Calling Waiting
Call Waiting gives you the convenience of receiving incoming calls while you are on another call. You are alerted by a beep to the incoming call.
Unlisted Number
Unlisted number ensures that your number is not listed in the annual telephone directory nor is made available from directory assistance service.
Caller Line Identification Restriction (CLIR)*
CLIR gives you complete privacy of your listed or unlisted cellular number by restricting the number when you make calls. Your number will not show up on the Caller ID display of the person you are calling.
